2016-06-03 Ogden Theater S2 A truly extraordinary Shem-Rah Boo with several parts. After the breakdown at 11m, Magner adds some very melodic keys to the jam as the whole band is very in sync here. At 13:55 Marc & Allen drive the jam with Barber playing an accompanying riff as the jam continues to build well outside of SRB territory. A gorgeous jam ensues until a return to the end refrain at 26:13. An All Timer version that is a must hear & takes the song to another level of greatness.

Gradually, Magner comes more into the forefront with fall 2000 style acid synths and delivers a strong conclusion.

Soon, Barber comes in with complementary riffs, although the jam remains firmly in Magner’s control, and he leads the jam to its thrilling conclusion.

• fantastic and eminently patient. Barber plays a series of sexy riffs over a mellow rhythm, underscored by Magner’s trance synths. The theme breaks down into a tense Magner-led passage that gradually rebuilds into Shem territory.

After the eight minute mark the jam mellows out considerably, but Sammy's four on the floor beat keeps things moving forward. A simple trance line from Magner underscores the lamenting cries of Barber's guitar. After a second crescendo at 13:30, the jam dissolves into haunting atmosphere, breaks down, and rebuilds with extreme patience into a Hope intro.
