not a bad opening segment with "Resurrection" ~> "Buddha" ~> "42" with the meat being the funk jive starting around 5:20 and it goes into interesting place with plenty to smile about. The Buddha is good but average although Sammy gets all the gold stars here. The 42 is meh.

One of 2 beautiful segments: "Astro" ~> Confrontation(><) ~> Naut.(this section deserves it's own book. one of the best feelings the Biscuits have ever shared with us) Astro has the most appealing jam from around 11:00 onwards, slamming out a nice ecstasy jam building up and up so wonderfully until successful launch into a wonderful ass-backwards Confrontation with Barber blasting the familiar ending first. At this point....shit gets real. Not only an A+ Astro but the Con is also of the same caliber.

I believe the "Jam" to start II should just be the opening of StR but it matters not much. Usually Robots has 2 main jams and it's the blueprint here too of course. The 2nd jam is very psychedelic and filled with dirty, dark themes....great stuff. Nice segue into Shem. I love this Shem!! It doesn't seem worthy of much praise? I think it's a huge winner winner chicken dinner. Barber is patient tonight and is enjoying the buildups and tension-release.

Mindless Dribble: the first or second most exciting tune of the night. It's basically Saturday Night Fever meets Soul Train. It's 22+ minutes of post-show disco bus jams. It's that simple....a wickedly funky dance off. Beauty.

Sven ~> Sound1: this is the 'couch-lock' portion of the evening....nice chilled out space rock. nice.

Encore is better than I was expecting.

This show alongside the next night in Madison, may be one of the finer back 2 back shows in the 1.0 era.
