Highwire > IRW is jamless. 42 has a long, drawn out jam that has some solid parts. I enjoyed most of this, but this is pretty much a straightforward dance jam. The Helix jam is just way too start-stoppy for my tastes, with nothing much interesting going on. The SRB jam is interesting, in that it has a very unique section before the ending. This gets built up in an unusual way for the band, and I think on this alone this is worth listening to.
Bazaar is standard. First I-Man jam is wholly forgettable. Jam out of I-Man has some neat Middle Eastern stuff going on, and at the very end of the I-Man track they have this weird digital psychedelia thing going on that’s very cool. Abyss is fine. Voices and Whip It are standard. Mulberry’s has two jams in it, neither of which does much. Ditto for the Morph encore.
Highlights: 42, SRB, I-Man (2*)
