Possibly the greatest Helicopters ever begins with a repetitive and vaguely melancholy keyboard line from Magner, while the other three provide some minimalist atmosphere. After a short, tense breakdown, Magner returns to this theme, layering on other ideas and pushing the jam forward. After another breakdown it reaches a kind of melancholy space, and Barber becomes more of a presence, repeating two very simple mournful riffs. The jam builds up, and Magner announces his return to the forefront in an explosive way. The jam builds up to a triumphant peak from here, with some excellent Barber shredding leading up to it.

•Recommended for those who like their Biscuits deep and dark. The jam starts off innocently enough with a light airy vibe. After transitioning to minor for a bit, things get weird and the jam calms, but it’s a menacing calm. An atmospheric dark jam develops. The band builds the intensity, backed by a great breakbeat groove from Sammy. Then Sammy shifts to halftime dub, and the darkness continues. Great intricate Barber work. After several minutes of this locked-in dark groove, Sammy speeds up the tempo to lead the band into AC2B.

The jam builds in intensity, but doesn't definitively move into major key territory until after the track change. Like the jam into it, this Helicopters jam doesn't show its hand until the very end.
