Track Notes
- S1Pygmy Twylyte
In contrast to many winter 1999 Pygmies, this jam quickly leaves its jazzy confines and emerges into a trance vehicle, with Sammy leading the way. Magner is the star for most of the jam, but he and Barber lock up for some great interplay around 8-10 minutes in. After a small breakdown, Barber begins to push towards Helicopters.
- S1Helicopters
The jam starts out standard, but builds to a thrilling conclusion. Magner's acid synths create a sonic assault and Barber builds to a thrilling uncomposed peak just after the nine minute mark. The jam seems to be heading back to Helicopters, but instead breaks down and segues into a reprise of Pygmy.
- S1Pygmy Twylyte
Emerging from the one-off Pygmy riff is this impressive piece of instant type two. Sammy drops to half time almost immediately, and the rest of the band follow, crafting a vaguely dubby trance atmosphere. Towards the end of the jam Sammy quickens the tempo as the band moves toward Dribble. It's a very short jam, but very exploratory.
- S1Mindless Dribble
The semi-rare "happy Dribble" jam, and first since 12/30/98. Magner's ambient synths serve as the backdrop for Barber's glorious, blissful riffs. Around the nine minute mark Barber develops a gorgeous riff that he builds up into the peak.
- S1Run Like Hell
After a few minutes of treading water, Barber decisively takes the lead on this glorious Run Like Hell jam. Some of Barber's finest playing ever is rudely interrupted at 15:17 by an unplugged amplifier. This completely throws off the momentum (which seemed to be building to a Run Like Hell ending) but check out the several minutes leading up to this moment. After this the jam is forced to break down, and builds back up to a solid Helicopters ending.
