Track Notes
- S1Morph Dusseldorf
(With Oteil Burbridge on bass) The jam develops into an energetic groove with a haunting quality. Magner invokes recently-debuted Spaga with his psychedelic sustained notes. Sammy notches up the intensity and Oteil starts doing some intricate bass work. Sammy switches to a breakbeat as the rest of the band shifts to major for a blissful vibe with great Barber work. Sammy goes back to four-on-the-floor as the bliss continues. The jam calms a bit and Oteil shines some more. The bliss becomes even more blissful, with this part of the jam sounding not unlike the yet-to-be-debuted Humuhumunukunukuapua’a. After a few minutes, they go into a fast-paced minor jam and build up to Helicopters.
