Track Notes

  • S1
    Jam

Some of the finest psychedelic music the band has ever crafted. Tense and formless for the first couple minutes, it gradually takes shape around Magner’s synths, and resolves in a thrilling conclusion: the best segue into Don ever.

  • S1
    Trooper McCue

A top-shelf Trooper. Magner’s haunting synths give it a unique flavor, and the result is a one of a kind Trooper jam. The conclusion of the jam is strong, but the beginning, with the haunting synth theme, is unparalleled.

  • S1
    Home Again

Debut, and also the only dnb Home Again (played by the Biscuits that is). A light-hearted dnb exploration that builds to the first segue into 7-11.

  • S1
    7-11

The last version before it was shelved and reworked. Rather than a drop into a raging trance jam, the jam slowly emerges from the verse section. It shifts to dnb as it moves back towards Home Again.

  • S2
    Confrontation

Debut. A full band trance-fusion theme breaks down into a Barber-led passage, which, after some hesitance, builds up to a strong Helicopters segue.

  • S2
    Helicopters

The jam (technically an outro, as all three verses are played) is a little bit slower and more mellow than a typical Helicopters jam. Barber develops some lovely blissful riffs over Magner’s melancholy organ sounds, and towards the end the jam begins to pick up speed heading into the excellent Confrontation ending.

  • S2
    Aceetobee

The second jam, while it gets a little spacey in the middle, sticks pretty close to Aceetobee territory throughout. However, it is such a gorgeous Aceetobee theme, and spectacular ending, that this can easily be forgiven. One of the finest Aceetobee themes ever.
