Track Notes

  • S1
    The Overture

The first Overture to feature a jam, and the first foray into Jungle music for the Disco Biscuits. It's a very short jam (only about 90 seconds) but it is an important development for the song nonetheless.

  • S1
    Trooper McCue

Around 4:15 the jam leaves Trooper territory and enters into a moody locomotive trance passage. Around the 9 minute mark Magner dramatically shifts the tone of the synths to a more abrasive and cacophonous style. The jam enters a passage of chaotic and psychedelic music, with Magner blending a rapid fire electric organ with his most heavily electronic trance synths, all punctuated by a thunderous repeating bass riff from Brownie. This portion of the jam builts to a fever pitch until just after the 16 minute mark, when the rhythm section begins to drop the tempo down to what is distinctly an Aceetobee intro.

  • S1
    Aceetobee

After a very standard first jam, the second jam immediately makes a dive into type two territory (the first such occurrence within Aceetobee). Brooding and dark, the jam follows this monolithic theme until it abruptly (and not in a negative way) drops back into Aceetobee.
