Where did the Nation go to? I've heard that was a cool spot with good staff. anyway....

Great shows like this make me wonder how / why people tend to omit 2004 through 2005. It's bewildering...I am bewildered. Just the first 5-6 shows alone from 2004 are really, really good.

Firstly, this "Dribble" is insane. The mid point jam is gorgeous. The best of '03 although to be honest, I can only remember 2-3 other good ones if that. The "Helix" that Dribble heater melts into is dynamite as well. A real creeper jam.

The 2nd set is where the erection sets in. Full blown pajama buster. Triumph's opening jam is nice, everyone is mid-tempo, testing the waters all the while Sammy is torturing his kit with magical drumming at 3X the speed. He is channeling his inner Keith Moon for sure.
The Crix jam is funky and a tad repetitive for a while until they bang out the beginning to Shem, which includes some tremendous trancejamming. It gets mighty Discadelic here with great patient group improv. Sammy is the absolute MVP...my Lord he kills it here! His command and tempo on the snare is second to none.

The Robots was very good, somewhat "normal" but what gets the blood flowing such was the case all night long, it's the transition as well as the leading jamoutro that is great. All night they have been nailing these segues.

I think we'll take HAB encores anyday and I believe the choice was steered into existence because of the quality of the show... a going away gift. {of course I am reading minds here and speculating like a MF but I believe it to be at least a %75 true statement lol)

get those '04 / '05 shows spinning! have a great one! peace
