Air Song is fine. The switch to Champions is solid. Champions is meh. Spacebird doesn’t do much for me either here. It has a decent groove during certain parts of the jam, but overall I don’t find much here all that memorable. The last 90 seconds before the transition to SRB turn out pretty neat. The DTTB jam gets into a really solid groove. Nothing groundbreaking here, but catchy and fun.

Robots 1 is meh. Jigsaw has a weird Basis ending jam in it. Also meh. Second Jigsaw jam has a great groove that Brownstein hits on around the 6-minute mark. Near the end of the Jigsaw track, it sounds like they could be headed for a segue to Konkrete. Sad that they do not. Sadly, the PBR jam hits some really, really cool stuff near the end of the track, and Magner’s cool descending riff carries through the beginning of the Jigsaw return track. The jam out of Jigsaw is hauntingly beautiful. Magner has some wonderful melodies here and the only thing I wish was different was that they lasted longer. Second Robots jam is bland and dull to me. The jam out of Highwire is okay, but not noteworthy. The MEMPHIS encore has far too much Rock God Barber for my taste.

Highlights: DTTB, Jigsaw (1, 2**) PBR
