This show was a bit of a mess, but so was I.

Somehow the biggest adult cry of my life is probably the beginning of this show.

For my life, Barber's guitar for the first bits is the saddest music in the world. Beautiful sad, but sad nonetheless.

(Some of my absolute favorite Barber segments are his sad music moments. That guy can really make a guitar cry.)

There's some really great stuff in there, but I can't remember which songs because I've only listened to it a few times since it happened because I'd feel weird listening to it too often.

But after I hadn't heard it in a couple of decades I decided to check it out of curiosity and it was strange to me. So strange. I hadn't thought about any of this in years, and so this show is an absolute gift to me, a spark that rekindled some essential piece of me long forgotten.

It set me on a quest to figure out what in the world this show was about.

For that mnemonic bookmark, I am genuinely grateful, and so I grant this show all five of my potential biscuits.
