    7-11

    This rare stand-alone version picks up quickly with an extended “Towel” jam. For the main jam section, they do not employ the usual trance jam, but instead use the “bring your ass to the party” theme as a springboard. After a couple minutes of rock, they bring it down to a quieter funky feel. A mellow groove emerges, with flavors of Story from Barber. As the band locks in and the intensity ramps up it’s clear they’re all on the same page as they bring it home for the 7-11 ending.

    Plan B

    The jam stays Type I, but is played with great passion and energy, as the band was likely excited to drop the CWB Opera on the unsuspecting Cleveland audience. After a minute of standard Plan B jamming, Sammy goes into a double-time feel and things get weird. Sounding similar to a demented Magellan jam, they build up the intensity for a great Plan B peak. This Plan B served as a great kickoff for a well-played CWB opera with a good amount of improv.
