one of the better shows from the first half of '02. All thanks go to Colonel Fordin for having the party. of course we all got our beer and supplies at a store nearby called 'Plan B' always a good sign. And they teased it in the last song of set 1 and the 1st song of set 2....obvious reference to the 14 cases of beer they got I guess lol. Baptist heavy area too. Wear your protective crystals!
Anyhoo, I must start by saying RIP and much love to the kid who sucked on 3 N20 balloons before falling unconscious backwards, hitting his head and never waking up. This will test your resolve but that is why we are family.
The setlist is off the charts good but this is a tale of 2 sets. Although the 2nd set was excellent, they obviously consumed at set break as they were pretty spaced and making some mistakes they usually don't.
The Mindless ~> Floes is very good as is the I-man (2nd set) the 1st is all good, all substance. The opening Dublights ~> Triumph is fantastic; Barber goes off in Triumph. Also, the Waves outro into Basis shows Magner's ability to adjust to anything. MVP. They next fly into a web of an inverted Crix that is just so good! I just replayed it so I'm still smoking a little. wow.
**Strain 'o the Day** the silly, silly giggly nature of this herb is mandatory for you to try, pls.
BTW, wouldn't ''Hot Air Balloon"" be the best name for a strain!?
