A solid show for sure in a tour that saw some confusion and straight-caca. The SBD is well recorded with good separation of the players, crisp bass, great imaging and depth. The only thorn in the boxers is that there's a hum either from a cable or just another digi-dragon.
1st set: Good "CWB"
''TVM~Hope~Confro~Hope rep" Pretty standard stuff but the last Moon jam is a nice creeper of a keyboard display by Mags, really nice, the "Hope" is above average with great funk and tremendous rapid pulse drumming by the Doctor.
"Magellan" Here it is !!!! The ''Magellan'' of the year. All by it's beautiful self, ending the set. Barber lifts this voyageur into the realms of psychedelia and ecstasy. The 10 + start to finish jam in the middle is gorgeous. Everyone is crashing into the waves at full force with bells on. But this is Barber's gift tonight. Great vocals and attention to detail. Perfect.

2nd set:
"B & C" > "Ladies ending"
Barber continues with the heat. ''B&C" ~ ''Ladies" has delightful jams. The reason why we love this "B&C" is the original take on the mid section. Marc and Sam lay down the funk carpet of love below and above while Magner swims and swirls in electric madness just to have Barber lay down a dance-fueled rhythm strumming to see where it goes.
And it goes! Superb crescendo jam with a sort of middle eastern vibe...so very purrty.
The transition is a nice untz creme brule. The entry into ''Ladies'' ending is brought to you by "Amplifliaaahhhhhhs! and a nasty solo.
"Humu > Confro" Standard still means garoovy here. The jam is all one straight electronica jam with many nice little goofies thrown in. The "Confro" imo, is all Brownie. He lays it down until Barber outros it well.
"EAST COAST Spaga" > "Mulberry's" > "Story" > "Dream" What's with these way above average "Spagas" in 2002. A show may hit mud in you undies but damn, they always respect the "Spaga" in 2002. This one is pretty average to be honest. The final 5 minutes has a good transition jam into
"Mulberry's Dream" Virginia is for Mulberrys. A good vocal go at it by Jon. The rest is Brownie & Mags in a superb little reggae-ish walk into
"SOTW" into the tune we have nice momentum with Magner. Yes, perhaps your average 'Story" jam but it's still damn good :) swingin and swaying into
"Mulberry's" double speed intro until a nice light yacht jam on acid with Sammy just destroying it! gentle is the vibe. Jigsaw has potential but time is short.

EncoRE: continuations, completions and MORE jamming, good jamming too...short but oh so sweet. it's a slick encore.
"Home Again" > Yes! great version. All funk. Sammy & Marc like it's '77 in east Philly. great stuff. "Story" Continues the great straight ahead jam then peak solo to end the tune. Good Spectacle. "Ladies beginning" wow. give it up! give it up! Another above average jam to take us out on the "B & C" completion.
Thank heaven for the good sounding boards! And mic tapers too, we love you.
