In my weird universe of yellow skies and blue suns, I treat and honor this 1st set and generally oft-overlook show as much as 4-20 / 2-15 / 6-5 / 9-19 / 9-24 / 12-26 etc

Tpace's chunk of funk for the night: Little Lai ! this goose-pimply version gets faster and faster and we get rounder and rounder....great sudden beautiful bust into an A+ 'Sven G Hali' what a trip, what a combo! The ecstasy jam rolls down the track in style with Allen just octopussing the fuck out of his kit....breather...time to build another section..."In wide open spaces we sing with strings, Launch a full on musical cannonball" rinse repeat...now Magner-Brownie swing and sway from DnB to power pop styles with Gremlin echoes all over your mental soundstage.

But, this half of Sven, is all Allen TBH. He is perfection. As we fly across the song there's a real nice "psychedelic trance jam with an emergency tempo" that eventually finds Barber, where he repeats small killer riffs over and over, signaling an upcoming change....LLai ending which is BEAUTIFUL: 'Baby look inside For Little Lai you cannot hide And for a couple of days we'll take it all in stride'

That's a small chunk of the Kzoo '09 experience, (which I hear the State Theatre is a superb place to see a show....never been to Kzoo). Please also see 'Morph's' Magner-Brownie ending!!!!, 'Spaga', 'M80~>' and '~>Astronaut'.
