CWB is a fine enough start. 42 is the goods in this set, but we'll definitely take what > Nug > Abyss > Lunar > 42 ending have to offer.

Rock Candy > Orch is fantastic. Found myself cracking up during the "Chaaarrrrlieeeeee" portion of Orch. > Sven is really great. Love this version. First jam in Basis is a nice classic Biscuits peak. 2nd jam is pretty funky and I'll take a > Boomshanker. Dig that tune a bunch. It's pretty atypical for Biscuits in my opinion but also fits them well. If that makes any sense. This version is standard, as it normally is. > Cyclone is fun enough and > Basis is sweet to end. Solid af show.

Love this show; those Starscapes from 2007 to 2009 were not to be missed. I was at it and it was raging! nice scent coming off the brown river, yummy.
I am not advocating drug use in any way but this was Benvento-Russo / Brother Past and Bisco all in their prime while, at that period, with the same friends and freaks you met, would get the best, purest MDMA-ecstasy around. Still taxing on the "happy" receptors in the brain the day after but still a really nice relatively clean time. Compared to some of the filthiest cut X today. Yes, the scene could get out of control with drugs and tour rats creating problems but we did look out for one another.

Philly has nothing on B-More shows :) love me some inverted instrumental Nuffers, nice Spectacle jam in LP. One of the better 2nd sets of '07. Big Magner and Brownie show.

the vocals are a little weak on the nugs copies until they are somewhat fixed mid-show (but still weak). the instruments though, sound great.

ps- I very much advise you to get the matrixes I have made. for this one I cross bred the SBD at 70% with 30% AKG481's and it came out roses. nice sync...great sound with just enough crowd roar with no conversations to be heard. better soundstage and killer bottom end.

I have 23 matrixes so far and always working on more; using good equipment too from a friend at Raven Studios. especially improving some of the 2008's mono boards as well as some stale-sounding SBD(mostly disclogic) legends from 2001 to 2004. whomever ignores the '03 to '05 period are plum crazy!

for info e-me at skyscout@live.ca would love to share... peasse

CWB begins the show with a short type 1 jam. Then, 42 comes outta nowhere with a marvelous, thematic jam. Brownstein is the MVP here as he develops a multi-chord progression that the rest of the band just comes together around. Barber’s tone here is fantastic, and Magner has some great additions as well. Wonderful stuff all around. A good chunk of the Nughuffer is forgettable, but as they get nearer to Abyss, they develop a neat dissonant theme that, oddly enough, sounds like they’re headed for Nughuffer ending. I thought this was a solid several minutes, and worth listening to. Unfortunately, the next 3 jams to close the set were extremely paint-by-numbers, and did very little for me.

Rock Candy begins the second set with a nice jam featuring Magner using the always popular Gates of Hell patch. Also notably, Allen drops a couple of thirst quenchers here and there. The jam here is long and solid, although I’ve heard people call this best ever (or in that conversation) and I just don’t hear it. Don’t get me wrong, this is nice, but nothing next level about it to me. Orch Theme’s first jam is mostly quite nice. There’s a period where Magner sounds almost like he’s teasing an Umphrey’s Song (The Triple Wide), but that could just be coincidental. Magner plays another Candy Mountain sample as well, and Barber also throws out a Mario star jam theme tease as well. The jam out of Orch theme is fine, but didn’t do much to warrant re-listening for me. The jam out of Sven has some great ominous DNB. Nothing too otherworldly here, but I enjoyed most of this jam. The last 3 jams of the second set just did nothing for me. The Story encore is a little too jamfunk-y for my taste.

Highlights: 42**, Nughuffer, Rock Candy, Orch (1), Sven
