All-Timers
Track Notes
- S1Munchkin Invasion
Begins as a stronger than average Munchkin jam, but soon devolves into sinister territory, and builds up to a spectacular Shimmy peak. Some of Barber’s finest work is enshrined in this transition.
- S1Little Shimmy In A Conga Line
It begins in pleasantly mellow territory, and takes a while to get going, but it culminates in one of the finest Munchkin endings ever.
- S2The Overture
It’s hard to pinpoint exactly when Sammy shifts styles from dnb to trance, but the result of this combination is one of the more well-executed Waves peaks, and one of the more atmospheric dnb jams.
- S2Above The Waves
The jam traverses a chaotic breakdown as it moves from dubby trance to breakbeats. The band builds to a strong crescendo which loses no steam as it slams into The Overture.
