Swirling psychedelia that ventures away, but never strays too far, from B&C type one

The sharply focused jam leaves the acid jazz territory of a traditional Pygmy jam almost immediately. Around the five minute mark, Magner locks onto a short and simple riff that the band builds into a massive theme. The explosive "Bad Love" crescendo takes the place of the traditionally uncomposed peak, and the band drops shortly thereafter into the end of Pygmy.

The main jam of this Basis more than makes up for its disappointing intro. A solid stretch of somber jamming breaks down to a minimalist trance passage and rebuilds as a triumphant Basis ending
