Track Notes
- S1Pat And Dex
Some very unconventional setlisting yields this gem of experimental music. There is some distinct Pat & Dex jamming for the first several minutes, as Brownie is very reluctant to relinquish the distinctive bass line, but out of this section Barber and (especially) Magner are able to carve some great atmosphere. A spectacular Magner dominated crescendo over the 12-13 minute mark before the jam melts into Voices territory
- S1Basis For A Day
After a raucous intro jam, the main jam is nearly fifteen minutes long. Some four on the floor from Sammy, with occasional but minimal variation, forms the backbone of this excellent early Basis. As Magner layers on a range of his old school 1998 style synths, Barber plays a series of light airy riffs that keep the jam moving along briskly. The jam builds to a chaotic frenzy before breaking down around the eighteen minute mark into what almost sounds like an I-Man intro. The next few minutes are based around an uplifting synth theme from Magner that gives way around the twenty minute mark. to more involved playing from Barber. The remaining 5-6 minutes of the jam are an extremely patient build to the Basis peak
