I really like this show and if you take out the ending ''Voices Insane > Miracles > 42" that finishes the show in regulation and replace it with any above average song duo and it's an elite level show (imo) if if if if if if. Still a very good show, although they ran out of steam after the Spacebird jam...shit happens. It's not the worst ending ever just a little uninspired and by the books so to speak. The show emphasizes Mags and Brownie very well (check out the great Astronaut, sync it up to the video and watch Mags do his thing in his lab, amazing.... Hammond sweeps to the grand piano then back and forth. Great stuff Mr. Magner, he's fun to watch for long periods at shows. I am not propping that redhead anymore behind the kit for he shall always be pretty much perfect :)

At the start of II, from the Mindless outro through a vg Assilios and an even better Spacebird, you will find some excellent Bisco.

Salut.

It’s always so refreshing when a show starts with 42. It’s like the band is telling me, “Hey, you can skip the first 8 minutes of this show, because they’re going to feel like an eternity.” I would be fine with never hearing 42 again, ever. The jam itself is quite good – very Magner-driven. Lots of delay-heavy texturing effects as the band morphs from a standard four-on-the-floor jam to a DNB jam. I’m not generally a fan of their DNB, but this is a little different. Barber starts just sort of shredding for some reason at one point, and in doing so basically kills the jam. Missed opportunity. The Ape jam starts out with a lot of potential. Magner has a bunch of really cool effects he’s messing around with, but they speed up after a very short time, and they lose what they were doing. I love when they extend SITA jams and venture from there into type 2 space. Love it. The jam out of Astronaut, gets into this happy little jam with Barber abusing the hell out of his wahwah pedal. Magner has some beautiful phrasing here. The jam out of King of the World goes immediately into the SITA section. Meh. The jam back into Astronaut doesn’t do a whole lot for me either. Dribble starts out the second set with an aimless jam in Vassillios. I thought Vassillios was closer, but there’s still something missing. They’re even aiming for this uplifting major key jam, but I never really feel like it gets “there.” The jam out of Spacebird starts pretty aimless as well. However, this time they actually hit on a beautiful Blissco jam, led by Magner. Gorgeous stuff, even if for a short period of time. Voices > Miracles > 42 does nothing for me, and Portal is effectively jamless.

Highlights: Astronaut, Spacebird
