The Lai jam to open the show is alright. This isn’t bad by any means, but for the most part this never really got to the level where I’d relisten to it. The Waves jam here is mostly straightforward. This is fast, dark trance, but never really gets to anything cohesive beyond dark jamming. Bullets is standard, jamless. Confrontation gets dark and weird. This is a neat little dance jam with some sort of vocal-sounding patches from Magner littered throughout. Neat stuff. Pilin jam is forgettable. Therapy is jamless.

Magellan Reprise is neat to start the second set, but of course jamless. The jam out of Boom Shanker flows very naturally into Basis, which gets spacey and psychedelic. This is a very solid Basis intro jam, including some straight up weird stuff from Magner. Would have loved them to flesh this out even a little more than they did. The Basis jam has some great call and response from Magner, and the band hits a great pocket. Tempest stays dark and trancy, although nothing here hits the next level for me. Nughuffer story is basically nonexistent. The jam out of Nughuffer is mostly the same jam you’ve heard a hundred times, although the section immediately prior to the Basis peak is really pretty. Home Again is fine, but nothing special, and obviously the Beatles cover is jamless.

Highlights: Confrontation*, Boom Shanker*, Basis*

I've always been in the minority when I've told others I think this is a good show. What can I say I really like the sequence in the 2nd set.
