Bananas!! What a show to start a nice 3 show run ending in VT where I've seen them over 20 times, in both locations.
Back to Norfolk: The stage was a warzone of cosmic proportions. Littered with lots of bananas of varying condition, a cucumber, pills, condoms and all sorts or things.
Thanks to Brian T for dressing up as a banana person, smelling like what Calcutta looks like(no offense). He's in the pics.
Highlights(subjective to say the least:
set1: Spacebird ~> Shimmy/ Overture + outro jam into Water Monkey.
set2: Mindless ~> Basis ~> Superman, SOJ / Jamillia (Mags > Barber interplay)
+ humor and the insanity of it all.
from the Spacebird onwards Mags is clearly on top of his game. Especially on this extra crispy psychedelic version with a side of coleslaw.
As of the 2nd, Sam, imo, is having an all time night at the kit. An A+ performance.
