Track Notes

    Crystal Ball

Equipment difficulties force the band to jam out the third ever Crystal Ball, well before the song was ever a regular jam vehicle. The band departs the type one territory after a few minutes, and Magner crafts an excellent soundscape. A few minutes later, Sammy leads a tribal breakdown, after which the jam settles back into trance. Barber reemerges, and leads the jam back into Crystal Ball.

    7-11

Another Magner-led dance party to emerge from the early 7-11. It sounds something like a Boop middle before settling into a more regular progression. It reaches a sweet full-band crescendo which sounds like it could lead to a high-energy segue into Floes, but the band is instead forced to break down to ambience before completing the segue.

    Floes

Could conceivably be classified as type 1.75, as everyone except Sammy is doing something atypical from Floes. Sammy keeps the jam grounded, but the rest of the band explores a unique and tense theme.
