All-Timers
Track Notes
- S2Above The Waves
It begins as an ordinary Waves jam, building in intensity and ferocity to a massive crescendo. However, as the intensity builds, the jam changes keys from F#m (Waves) to A major (RLH). The band drops the tempo simultaneously and seamlessly for the Run Like Hell ending.
- S2Basis For A Day
Proceeds as a typical Basis jam, with moody atmospheric trance gradually building in intensity. Rather than shifting to the major key of the Basis peak, the band holds fast in this moody atmosphere as Sammy kicks up the tempo and signals the transition into Dribble.
- S2Mindless Dribble
Another typically strong 99 Dribble. Magner does a spectacular job of crafting somber atmosphere, and Barber’s soulful licks are the perfect complement. The first Dribble hits come in around 7:30 and Barber gradually takes the lead. As the ferocity builds, Barber delivers an absolute scorcher of a peak, enhanced by Magner’s demented synth work. Only the third Dribble outro of the year, and the one responsible for making it a staple of the catalogue. A chaotic jam emerges with Magner mostly relying on the piano and Barber playing a simple three note pattern over Sammy’s furious drumming. Barber takes the lead and builds to a fantastic Basis peak.
