The jam begins, unassumingly, as typical lighthearted trance. Over the course of several minutes, the band (led by Magner) moves the jam into darker and more sinister territory until it is full-blown evil type two. Just as the jam reaches the point where it sounds like it could lead into ending of Shimmy, the band (led by Barber) bring the jam back into the triumphant territory of the Don ending, so gradually and smoothly that the listener is left with the feeling of emerging from a nightmare of which they can only remember the vaguest of details.
