    M.E.M.P.H.I.S.

    The first M.E.M.P.H.I.S. jam to break out of the box, and the one that set the stage for the monumental version the next night. It begins with a mellower energy than any M.E.M.P.H.I.S. before it, despite Sammy's more frantic drum work. The jam stays in this mellow, spacey territory the whole way through, and rather than peaking it melts back into the ending of M.E.M.P.H.I.S.
