Fairly listless first set that doesn't quite find its footing. I seemingly am the only person who feels like Photograph still needs a little more time in the oven. For a five song first set with 3 tracks over 18 minutes, not a lot happens.

The second set needs a little warming up but by Deal they've finally found some footing (even if there's a minor flub). M1 is great if a little conventional; Magner gets some great arps going in the back half of the jam for maximum danceability. While To Be Continued unfolds gently from the end of M1, the transition into Cyclone is a shocking abrupt slam. But what a slam it is! Magner and Allen create a crunchy soundscape for Barber and Marn to do their thing--until that too dissipates into a beautiful fallow section with Magner hitting the chime patches. The return back into TBC is as smooth as butter.

This is a textbook 3.5. Better than average but that first set drags down the goodies of the second.
