Love this show. Very cool Naeba~>Gangster in the 1st w. a decent KOTW. The 2nd is a winner winner chicken dinner. Set opening Abraxas' usually is a good sign :) and the transition from LSD into Candy was a nice combo. Lastly, beside a satisfying MEMPHIS, the Don is excellent. We are hungry for more standalone Mr. Dons!! There's more but the fine people commenting here have surely covered the bases.

Barber's patience so far this year has been terrific. I believe he's (consciously or not) listening more, patient as hell, quality over quantity...that sorta thing. This is nicely on point during the Naeba~>Gangster combo and especially in Don to close the run. There are more gaps about letting the jam "breathe" before starting a new riff or solo. Maybe I've had too many pucks to the head growing up but that's what I've seen and heard. I'm not saying they are switching to full on phISH '97 porno funk but after the past 5 shows it seems like a beautiful breather, giving this fine wine we call Chateau Bisceau ,close to 30 years of aging, time to breathe thusly opening potential that might not have been there in that moment.

Oh yes, the summer will rock. Even if it costs $200 to drive to a show.

Be well and stay safe, you're parents did a fine job. Peachy Rugs, pace

The 1st set of this show is really solid, the setlist doesn’t look spectacular & a lot of people are getting tired of Running, but this whole set is played very well. Hope & KOTW standalones we’re surprising, but to be positive it was nice to see them change it up. Now the 2nd set, well if u like a cohesive group effort of jamming w/ everyone on the same page working together, than this is the set for you. The Abraxas I thought while I was at the show, that it’s gotta be the 1st opener of a set & not inverted version since the classic 11/20/09 which is an all time favorite jam at the FillmoreSF. I could write a lot about this but keeping it short this amazing, must hear, definite JOTY candidate already -> nicely into the release event of LakeShoreDrive which is my favorite version of the song to date, really well executed. After that the energy & keeps flowing as u can see the band follow each other & communicate on stage to segue into an excellent version of Rock Candy. Theve really been playing that well the last several times since the Wellmont version. This set doesn’t stop for a breather at all & continues into the familiar & always welcome Munchkin. Another excellent version that like this set is practically flawless until finally dropping almost out of nowhere into a blistering Don. This is the best standalone Don I’ve heard since maybe 2018, most have been split up since then. Barber really shreds the heck out of this 1 leaving the crowd amped up for more. Memphis encore gives them something, definitely better than Highwire & overall a really good show in a chill town thst they should definitely consider playing more. The 2x theybe played here were very good, check out 4/16/2011 for the 1st time & a nice show! Can’t wait for more in ‘2022

Set 1 was ok. Running is kinda getting played out. But it was good to hear naeba > gangster. This really got the crowd going. Stand-alone hope was actually fun to hear. KOTW closed it out, like running imo should be limited to once a year.

Set 2 all day. Abraxas opening the set was incredible into a 20 minute jam that segued into LSD. The fire kept going into RC and munchkin, ending with Mr Don. This set is totally worth a listen.

Short MEMPHIS encore. Sweet.

Awesome show! 2nd set is fantastic. The Abraxas is just amazing no matter what anybody says, it’s 1 of the best. Whole show the band was in sync & the crowd, staff & venue were great!

    Abraxas

At almost 25 minutes, this rare set opening version is the longest and most improvisational Abraxas ever played. It explores several themes and brought the song to a new level. A must hear for everyone.
