Extremely middle of the road show. Also feels pretty short. Quite frankly, not even sure how it wound up in my queue of shows to listen to.

The first set opens with an overlong, by the books TVM that sets the tone for the rest of the night. Voices contains some interesting riffing off of the main theme, but only Ladies is consistently interesting in the first set.

The second set is better, although the transitions are a little rough. Catalyst is the main centerpiece here, featuring a descending, squiggly jam in its back half. Even just shy of 9 minutes, I Feel Love overstays its welcome; Orch Theme on the other hand ends before it even goes anywhere. While there are plenty more interesting Bases out there, the two servings here were perfectly fine. The second one manages to end the show on a high note, with a rapidly evolving jam featuring some aerodynamic gliding from Barber and a loping sitar patch from Magner.

I'll say this is a 3. Pretty insubstantial offering, but not actively bad.
