I couldn’t care less about One More Saturday Night. Plan B is basically standard. Parts of the Morph jam are interesting, but for the most part it’s forgettable to me. Same thing with the first Jigsaw jam (and the completely forgettable drum solo). Jigsaw second jam doesn’t do much for me either, though the Munchkin peak is fantastic, especially Magner’s playing as they hit the peak progression.

Caterpillar is a very solid start to the second set. This is nothing too far outside of the box, but it’s really well played. Highwire’s jam begins with a pretty typical dance jam. Around the 8:00 mark, the band hits an absolutely wonderful progression. By 9:00, this has developed into a really lovely theme. The interplay between Magner and Barber is great, and Brownstein’s driving bassline moves the band forward with intention. This is absolutely phenomenal. Sadly, they ditch this theme after only a few minutes. What they resolve to is basically an Abyss ending jam, which eventually leads to Humu. The first few minutes of the Humu jam are okay, but the portion immediately preceding the Tempest change is fantastic. Magner playing that resonant patch fits really well with what they’re doing. The Tempest jam is fine. Nothing to write home about. Nughuffer is fine. I don’t hate Shakedown Street, but don’t really care about TDB playing TGD.
