Confrontation is unremarkable. The Ladies jam has a really nice theme early on. Around the 7:30 mark, the band shifts into a major key jam. This section is great. Around the 11:30 mark they drop to almost nothing and it’s a mini-ambient jam for a few sections before Allen comes back in with the four-on-the-floor beat. The rest of the jam into Orch is really solid. The jam out of Orch and into Tricycle has some interesting parts, as does the jam out of Tricycle, however, neither ever gets to the level I’m comfortable noting as a “highlight.” The second Orch jam turns into a break beat jam that doesn’t do much for me. The last Ladies jam leaves me nonplussed.
