Pretty much all of '09 sounds great but this one, to my weird ears, seems way more technical, with perfect soundstage and imaging. Everyone is nice n' deep in the mix, well spread apart and perfect editing. Note this.

Also, the segues tonight (especially into Triumph & into Spacebird) are absolutely phenomenal. In a November '09 interview Barber stated this show as his favorite of the fall)

Incredible 'Shimmy' to start the party, this is 2009 and they have been choppin' wood like crazy on the road hence such a powerfully trippy and funky opener. Pls look at 14:00 & 19:40 mins for Barber to get shit real funky and tight. Definitely the slickest Shimmy of the year and currently in talks for all-time.

The middle voyage of 'Boom Shanker' inside said 'Shimmy' is my personal favorite. Perhaps a little better than Jan.7-2007 and Lupo's Feb 19-2010 (as in live situations and not from audio recordings) Such an interesting song. Killer dub / psychill going on there. Best Boomer of all time!

The last 2 tunes are pretty good but standard minus a killer transition by Mags and Brownie when going into 'Buddha'

Now, things get downright evil with 2 main sections of heaven for set 2; : a) Save The Robots > Triumph > Spacebirdmatingcall and b) Rockafella > Save The Robots

The "year(s)" of the Robot are 2009/2007/2003/2014 and a couple in 2019 off the top off of my ginger ale brain. <-- not an absolute statement :) This one is indeed WAY up there; including the (b) 'Robots' reprise madness to end the show.

The 'Triumph' is ORGASMIC, such a dance tune. The trip into 'Spacebird' is top notch with an ending jam to end all ending jams. Check Barber's WAY off tune guitar at 2:21 :) that was enjoyable as Barber thought so as well. The 1st SBMC jam is quite original with a nasty bassline as Magner echoes some for eerie ambiance. The 8 minute guitar led section is sofa king sexy. A delightful dance groove as our Pineal gets poked and prodded.
