IRW is jamless. The Buddha jam is fairly straightforward, paint-by-numbers jamming, but it’s well-played, and I think a pretty good intro to the band for those at this show that were not there for them. Boom Shanker is fine, but this just never really develops into much here. The jam out of Shimmy has some Blissco vibes for certain parts, and the transition into Abyss is really well-done. Easily the highlight of the night. The jam out of Abyss has an interesting sound to it, but this just doesn’t last nearly long enough before they slam into Shimmy ending to close the show. Pretty solid show considering how short it is.
