World is Spinning has a very rare jam out that turns into Abraxas somewhat fluidly. This is nothing groundbreaking, but it’s not bad, and I certainly appreciate the effort here. The jam out of Abraxas has a great dance groove to it, and Magner in particular has some really nice stuff littered throughout this jam. Rock Candy has what is basically a Bazaar Escape jam over a house beat. Like, this is a pretty logical progression in the context of Rock Candy, but it’s pretty close to just playing Bazaar Escape. For the most part, the jam out of Rock Candy is too short to be anything useful, but I like the idea of jamming out of the ending like this. The 42 jam to end the show has some great angel choir usage, and there is just a lot of digital effects from Magner and Allen in general. Barber plays some Middle Eastern stuff at various points, and this is overall very nice.
The band also came out for part of the Umphrey's encore, which was Resolution > Svenghali > Syncopated Strangers. The Resolution and Svenghali jams were both better than what I would typically get out of Umphrey's, but this is still a little too Umphrey's-y for me.

Pretty solid for a festival daytime set, but still not very memorable. The jam into Rock Candy is pretty great and includes some tasteful e-drums, but ultimately the night before (and the night before that) were way better. If you want a better daytime Biscuits set from that summer, 8/17/07 is what you want to listen to.
