I won’t lie – the only known recording for this show is garbage. I don’t want to say that colors the way I listen, but when it’s this bad it absolutely does. Overture begins the show with a forgettable DNB jam. TVM 1 never really gets outside of the box here, which makes sense for a show where they’re the openers for moe. Caterpillar gets super digital in a good way, and Magner even busts out the pan flute patch, which is always welcome to me. First Robots jam is mediocre “jamfunk” that doesn’t go anywhere. You can hardly really call the jams out of Robots into Handcuffs (or back into Robots) jams. They’re basically just immediate transitions. The Story jam is so painfully mediocre it hurts.
