Top notch! I had to go back to the JotR in 2015 to see Lotus, a killer Electron set and I believe Flux C. was there, the surprise for me.

Back to 2003, where the same 30 people were a shoe-in to be present at every show east from Maine to Cleveland to New York to Virginia. I loved touring in the '03 to '05 years, easy to get tickets, fine chemistry and pretty tight knit. Sparky, Jim, Toledo Tim, panty crew, Jen and Riley from Michigan or Michigan State...everyone tried to get Jamillia with them, to no avail. and of course...the Sister Judy Campaign.

With a nice view of Camden we made it railside 2 minutes before Jigsaw dropped. Barber has moments of steady heady grooves but Mr. Mags is the absolute captain on this one. He simply paints aural Picassos all over the tune. Very very inspiring.

Marc took this MORPH and sent it into the Van Allen belt with Parsons in it. Those bass monitors sound so good that close. The crescendo peak in the best of the year, no doubt. check please, call you in the morning. It's FIRE!!!

The greatest segment of the night was the 'Digitally Sound Buddha' The Buddha groove is incredible. Sammy destroys everything in sight while keeping time like no one else (especially Sound 1) The point of these kind of Buddha's, at home, outdoors, crazyness, not much pressure....is to blow up the peak into 5000 pieces. I'm in awe with this ''Digi-Sound 1" it's an amazing pair a dice. Barber gets ALL the cake here on the build up and segue into Sound 1. ''Put the cake in the trunk everyone get down'' indeed. A+

A lot of times Mitts will open a show around this era(see the opener 12-29-2004 in Boston! This K MItts actually stretches out like my favorite and most interesting version, the outstanding 10 000 Lakes version in the summer of '07 to, again, start the party but magically segues into a very heady inverted (or dysl?) Robots. You know the show :) This one is maybe better. Great groove and again, Magner (the mvp of '03 to '05) slays it well with 3 different "sounds". Ding Dong Ding baby, right into a blast of Basis ending. The sweaty kind.

I thought they sorta hit a wall with 42. Way too short to play and lack life to be honest.

encore: Story. Great! I thought the same song architecture would play out, 7 to 8 minutes long then salutations. They made it very interesting. Barber is strong and psychedelic in the main ten halfway through.

Rating: 8.85 / 10 Sound: 9 / 10 Scooby Snack: 10 / 10 Great Kit Kat too.

Cause Amber's gone astray.
And I need some of you today.
Come on down and take me away."
